This month’s issue of Real Simple had a great article on little acts of kindness that can make a big impression.  I just loved this one in particular . . .

Whenever you have a guest who brings a bottle of wine over, write his or her name and number on the label.  If you don’t get around to drinking that day or night, when you finally do find a moment to enjoy a glass of it, you can call or write a note to thank your guest for their thoughtfulness and let them know that you enjoyed their gift. 

Wouldn’t that be such a fun call to get if you were the person who gave the bottle of wine??
